Sean's 2 front teeth had been loose for a long time. We were sure he would be singing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth," but he would not allow us to pull out the teeth. He finally lost the first one at school on January 5, when he bit into a piece of pizza. Luckily he noticed right away and brought the tooth home in a bag. As you can see below, the second tooth was just hanging by a thread but it was still a couple of weeks before the it fell out. He was eating rice krispie cake on Jan. 15 and I told him just to bite right in and the tooth would likely come out. He looked at me and shook his head. A few minutes later he came to me and said his mouth felt funny. I looked inside and said, "Your tooth is gone! Where is it?" He just looked at me with big eyes and I started to laugh. He had swallowed the tooth! Since he didn't have a tooth to put under his pillow for the tooth fairy he wrote this note:
dear toof fery I lost my towth today. it went down my belly
I cannot put my tooth under my pillou becus I ate it and
sloeod (swallowed) it. from sean
